Award Banquet:

By rewarding those that have given of themselves, in addition to their being motivated to do more, others are also motivated to emulate them. As a result, the organization is further strengthened.

Goal:

To promote prevention in Mississippi by recognizing those individuals who have made a difference in the lives of the underserved in Mississippi .

Objective:

Provide motivation for increase interest in serving the health of the underserved.

Action Plan:

• Recruit community leaders and activists to form the committee
• Divide the committee into sub-groups to address all aspects of the banquet
• Assign roles to each sub-group
• Monthly meetings with sub-group chairs to monitor progress
• Seek a big name as key note speaker to increase audience
• Secure a good location for the banquet
• Provide excellent publicity by media involvement
• Seek Corporate and individual sponsorship of the banquet
• Plan to sell all tickets for the banquet
• Document activity for archive
